Rebecca Mahayag is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist.  She attended the University of Maryland, College Park as an undergraduate, majoring in psychology.  Rebecca received her Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland at Baltimore.  She is currently in the process of completing a three-year post graduate program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis.  Rebecca has a private practice in Rockville, Maryland where she treats older adolescents and adults with an interest in young adults struggling with the transition to adulthood.  Rebecca is a member of the faculty of the Washington School of Psychiatry, teaching in the Child and Adolescent Therapy Program.  She is a member of the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work and the Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work.   If you are interested in learning more about Rebecca’s private practice, please visit her website at www.rm-counseling.com.
