Dr. Seidman is a Board Certified specialist in Internal Medicine, treating adults of all ages, with Enhanced Qualifications in Geriatrics from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She was an undergraduate at the Johns Hopkins University, and went to medical school at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center from 1987-1990, and there received the Saul Zuckerman Humanitarianism in Medicine Award.
She joined the teaching faculty at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1990-1994. She then rejoined the faculty at Washington Hospital Center and taught from 1994-1999. During this time, she was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1995.
She left academia in 1999. Dr. Seidman is the Medical Director of Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD, and served previously in the same position at Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville for four years. She has been listed inWashingtonian and Washington Checkbook magazines as a “top-rated” doctor for multiple years.
Dr. Seidman is married and has two children as well as her beloved dogs, Sprinkles and Casey Lacy.
