Inflammatory Bowel Disease - Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease

Dr. Bhushan is a board certified gastroenterologist and works at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD. She takes care of patients with variety of gastrointestinal symptoms and diseases. Her special interest area is caring for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which has two major subtypes, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. In her words, it’s an honor and a privilege to care for the military personnel and their families and help them lead a healthy life. She is passionate about teaching and supports an excellent academic program with a thriving gastroenterology fellowship program at WRNMMC. 

She lives with her loving husband and energetic two kids in Rockville, MD. Her interest in books,  growth mindset around learning, relentless curiosity, and desire to strike a better balance juggling her various life roles led her to pursue a certification in coaching. As a certified coach, she is motivated to help people expand their awareness around their life’s journey, their choices, their life’s experiences and live their best lives!
