Dorothy Doyle is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) with a private practice in Rockville, Maryland. She has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and a second Masters Degree in the Theatre Education from Emerson College. In her counseling work with individuals, couples, and families, Dorothy enjoys helping her clients find creative solutions to problems.
Dorothy’s specialization in infertility and perinatal loss is enhanced by both her personal and professional experiences with the challenges of family building and issues of loss. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and Resolve. Referrals are frequently made to her practice in the areas of infertility, pregnancy loss, support during high-risk pregnancies, and postpartum adjustment.
Area therapists often refer to her for cases involving young adult life transitions, couple and family issues, LGBTQ issues, phase of life problems, and when clients wish to incorporate spirituality into their counseling.
