We’re proud to announce that many of our docs were named “Top Doctors” in the November issue of Washingtonian Magazine.  We covered a broad range of fields, including Allergy and Immunology, Endocrine, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Infertility, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Oncology and Hematology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pediatrics, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonology, Radiation Therapy, and Rheumatology.  Not bad for a small group of women who get together to get things done!

In addition, Dr. Linda Yau and Dr. Ann Marie Stephenson had individual photos on the cover and in the article, with some personal anecdotes.  Linda tells of how she diagnosed her father with CML before his doctor did.  Fortunately he was treated promptly and had an excellent outcome. Ann Marie told about her passion for becoming a doctor, starting at age ten, leading her to spend a thousand hours as a candy striper.

Congratulations to our special stars and all the doctors on the list.  As they explain at the beginning of the article,” …Plenty of wonderful physicians don’t make it onto the list…” for a variety of reasons.  As the authors do, “…we recommend that you use your good judgment when picking a doctor and that you see physicians with whom you feel comfortable.”

In good health …
